About the Retreat

Led by the Missionary of God’s Love Sisters. The theme for this year is: Phoenix-rising from the ashes, transformed, renewed and strengthened by God’s love.The Annual CTR Women's Retreat will be held on May 1st to May 3rd 2026. Our annual retreat is a great way to help the wonderful women of CTR develop stronger, more meaningful connections with faith, family and friends. We aim to create a space where people can explore faith in a welcoming enviroment mixed in with a lot of fun and fellowship.

Our retreat will be held at the Mt Carmel Retreat Centre, 247 St Andrews Rd, Varroville NSW 2566

Children’s Easter Mass,
Matthew 28:5-6: “The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said’”

Great Friday. 1 Peter 2:24
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross,so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed”

JOB WEDNESDAY & THE RITE OF THE LAMP - What a special day in our Faith it is. We come together and listen to scripture from the Book Of Job who amazingly said “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 1:21) which reminds us to be forever thankful to God for everything and on top of this, we get the Blessing of the Oil to Heal us in so many ways.

What a blessed day it is.

Today, we enter Holy Week with palms in our hands and Christ in our hearts. Palm Sunday is a moment of both joy and reflection, we welcome Jesus as King, while also preparing ourselves to walk with Him through His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.

This day carries deep meaning for our families, our Church, and our journey of faith. It reminds us that following Christ is not only about celebrating Him in moments of glory, but also remaining faithful through sacrifice, prayer, and trust in God’s plan.

As we begin this sacred week, may we open our hearts to the Lord, walk closely with Him, and prepare ourselves spiritually for the great joy of Easter.

Wishing everyone a Blessed Palm Sunday from everyone at Christ the Redeemer Maronite Parish - Let us begin Holy Week in prayer, reverence, and faith.

Sunday even Mass was a very social one with our Maronite Bishop, His Excellency Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay joining us and celebrating Mass with us. It’s always a blessing to have the Bishop with us and such a full church to go with his visit.
